Full time – 48 Hours per week, shifts include; 4 doubles and a half day

The Role – You will be an integral part of our experienced team of 12 providing seasonal cuisine to our 2 rosette restaurant.

Assisting our Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare fresh, local ingredients for our wide range of menus from breakfast, lunch and dinner to afternoon tea, buffets and exquisite 4 course dining options for events. You will have the opportunity to cover all sections of the kitchen, manage stock levels, ordering, staff management and ensuring all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to.

You will be leading junior members of the team and heading up the kitchen occasionally in the absence of the Executive or Head Chef.

Your skills will quickly be put to the test and the opportunity to learn is endless with expert training with our Head Chef. As Chef de Partie you will pride yourself in all dishes coming out of your section.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation of fresh ingredients and delivering perfect presentation
• Complying with our Health and Safety procedures and maintain an immaculate working area
• Be responsible for your section and offer guidance and support to our commis chefs, passing on your previous knowledge and sharing your experiences
• Working to strict time schedules
• Be fully aware of all dietary requirements and ingredients of our meals
• Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments.
• Assisting in monitoring food stock levels
• To ensure that all costs are kept within the agreed budget where possible and notify the Executive/Head Chef when problems are identified.
• Support the Front of House team with their food knowledge

Knowledge and Experience – We are looking for someone with a passion for food and creating memorable dishes, someone who is eager to learn and want to push themselves as a Chef de Partie.

Someone who is a real team player with a hands-on approach and excellent organisational skills. You must be able to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

The Role

You will be an integral part of our SpaSpa team responsible for managing and completing professional spa and beauty treatments and providing our guests and members with the highest standards in luxurious and relaxing spa experiences from our extensive menu of professional Espa, Aromatherapy Associates, Shellac, Guinot and signature treatments.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Achieving a number of different treatments during each shift, including massage, facials, manicures, pedicures and more
• Communicating effectively with all guests and members that you come across
• Having extensive knowledge on our products and treatments
• Maintain a clean and tidy treatment space
• Having product knowledge to assist with the upsell of Spa products
• Cover reception and be able to assist with booking treatments when required

Knowledge and Experience

Licence/Certification:

We require an NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy or NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Qualification (preferred)
Or NVQ Level 3 Beauty Qualification Equivalent

Experience with any of our product offerings, ESPA, Shellac, Guinot (but not essential), intimate waxing (but not essential), lash lifting (not essential), pregnancy massage (but not essential). Experience within a Spa environment would be an advantage (but not essential).

You must be a friendly and highly professional therapist with a genuine passion for offering exceptional treatments to all clients.

You must be a team player and be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining superb attention to detail. Experience within a busy or high performing salon environment is beneficial.
